Bowler Performance 700R-4 Lock-up Control Module. Seamlessly control your torque converter lock up with this easy to install kit. Converter Lock-up will occur 8-10 seconds after 4th gear engagement, allowing enough engine RPM gain before lock-up. This gives your engine more performance and provides a better feel to lock-up. The lock-up module only requires one 2 amp fused 12 volt wire to operate. No vacuum switch is necessary allowing this lock up module to function correctly with all types of engines. There are no bulky boxes to hide or mount. The control module has the GM 4 prong connector integrated onto the control board, and is epoxy coated to stay protected against the elements. Brake Light Switch*
* We have now started including a brake switch in our lock-up module kits as requested by many customers. This is a standard brake light switch that has a normally closed switch (for your lock-up module) and a normally open switch (for your brake lights). The brake switch does not have to be installed for the lock-up module to function, however we have had several compliments on how the system is improved with the use of the brake switch. The brake switch will allow the driver to tap the brake to un-lock the converter at any time. If you are going up an incline and need a few more RPMs to get up that hill, just tap the brake, and the lock-up will turn off and not re-engage for approximately 8 seconds. For those with a high gear ratio and late down shifts who experience a chug of the motor due to the lock-up converter still being engaged; the switch will eliminate this concern.

The COMPUSHIFT Mini is a standalone plug-and-play system designed to control the torque converter clutch on GM 700R4 and GM 2004R transmissions. The system uses a miniaturized version of the same control software and electronics as the COMPUSHIFT II.
The built-in display and keypad lets the user adjust and tune for their specific application and diagnose problems should they occur. The easy to read screen can display current vehicle speed, throttle position, transmission pressure, 4th gear/overdrive activity, torque converter clutch engagement, and allow for further custom tuning. The controller can can drive an electronic speedometer as well.
Unlike other control modules that use vacuum switches or a simple delay timer, the COMPUSHIFT Mini uses throttle position and vehicle speed to optimize torque converter clutch control.
Installing the COMPUSHIFT Mini is a straightforward operation if you are familiar with working on cars. No special considerations are needed when driving with the COMPUSHIFT Mini. Once tuning is complete, the COMPUSHIFT Mini can be mounted in its final location and left alone. No further adjustment or maintenance is needed. Properly tuned, your vehicle should have better gas mileage during cruising, and be more responsive to the throttle.
The kit ships with all of the parts that should be needed for the installation including COMPUSHIFT Mini Controller with keypad, wiring harness, speed sensor and fittings, hydraulic pressure sensor, hook and loop fasteners, terminals and cable ties.

This pan fits 700-R4, 4L60, and 4L60E transmissions. GM and Chevy use these transmissions in many cars and trucks. This stock capacity pan works well on vehicles with limited clearance, like Corvette and Camaro. The 700R4 is also a popular aftermarket replacement transmission.

That's why they developed their own kit to solve this problem. When you purchase one of Bowler's Tru-Shift systems you will get the easiest and best functioning TV cable adjusting system available. When you install this system you simply bolt on the supplied bracket and carburetor cam assembly, install the Bowler TV cable, then run the accelerator to wide open throttle. The cable will automatically adjust itself and you're done. With this system there is no need to remove the carburetor, no cams to adjust, no need to drop the transmission pan, no need to install a pressure gauge to check the pressures and best of all - no more guessing. Bowler even includes different throttle cable brackets to cover Lokar, Gennie, GM square and early round hole. Each one attaches neatly to the supplied bracket.
