This is a BRAND NEW cast-aluminum Bellhousing that fits Oldsmobile (1949 thru 1964) or Cadillac extended bellhousing engines (1949 thru 1954).
Retains OEM Flywheel or use with aftermarket versions.
These bellhousings are NOT meant to exactly replace the stock bellhousings. They are made to accept a GM pivot ball and cast steel fork or swap to a hydraulic clutch kit. Transmission opening is machined to accept Tremec TKX, TKO, and Muncie 4 speeds. We also have extended pilot bushings available for different length input shafts.
This part is over 1/4 inch thick, making it the heaviest-duty bellhousing available for these engines.
